POSMan System

POSMan is SoNet’s tool for a very effective administration of vast nets of POS terminals. The system automates the process starting with inserting the merchant into the system, opening an electronic order for POS terminal installation, or for on-site technician visit, to actual implementation of electronic installation or service protocol. POSMan solves complete POS terminal logistics at the serial numbers, and automated setting of terminal parameters in terminal management. Furthermore, it informs the user on every important event.

POSMan gives up-to-date details of open installation/service orders. It generates a range of useful reports. A new POSMan module called Manager is especially designed for bank managers and merchants and provides an instant overview of the entire POS terminal net at a merchant’s.

We frequently use so called Interactive Map for operational management of POS net. Each merchant store using a terminal, including GPS coordinates, is saved in POSMan system which enables visualizing it as a colour point on the map of the Czech Rep. either in the static form (PDF) or in an interactive mode. By clicking on the point on the interactive map the operating staff receive on-line information about the status of the merchant store, terminal, servicing event type, etc. The POS net interactive map is permanently monitored by HyperNET supervisory centre staff.
