HyperNET communication infrastructure

Logo Hypernet

SONET in cooperation with Telefonica O2 built up a specialised communication infrastructure optimized for running POS terminals and ATMs. Hyper NET has two interconnected central nodes, one in O2 hosting centre in Prague, the other in O2 hosting centre in Brno. Nodes are fully backed; the whole infrastructure satisfies „no single point of failure” condition. The central nodes support the following types of connectivity: fast dialup, IP, IP via the internet with SSL protocol, GSM/GPRS. In Slovakia a similar net is built up in cooperation with T-Com having nodes in hosting centres in Bratislava and Kosice. It is possible to interconnect the nets in both countries on customer’s request.
